Clear, partly cloudy, cloudy
The three base skies. Cloud cover thickens from left to right, and the sun dims whenever a cloud drifts in front of it.
Rain and thunderstorms
Rain falls over the cloudy sky. The storm card adds lightning that lights up the whole card for a moment when it strikes.
Snow
Flakes drift down in parallax layers and settle into a drift along the bottom edge.
Hail
A thunderstorm with hail: stones bounce off the bottom of the card, shed ice chips on impact and melt where they land.
Sleet
Rain, half-melted flakes and ice pellets falling together, slowly building a slush line across the bottom.
Fog
Fog banks drift across the sky and pool near the ground, thin enough to still let the light through.
Wind
Gusts arrive in bursts, curl through the card and fade, carrying leaves with them. Wind layers on top of any other condition instead of replacing it.
Compact rows
The same cards at list height, for a saved-locations screen. The effects scale down with the card so the detail still reads at 58 pixels tall.
